WHY WYFEST

please join us in celebrating:

   60 years of Andy

   40 years of Fran & Andy

   30 years of Charlie and

   25 years of Ben!

WHAT'LL WE DO

We're hoping to have a relaxed garden party feel to celebrate our various birthdays and anniversaries with our collective friends and family. So please bring yourself, your friends and family and join us:

  • Arrive: anytime after 4pm

  • Eat & Drink

  • Play:  Kubb

  • Listen: to Jukes

  • Make Music : We encourage you to sing, play and join in or just listen. Printers Ukulele Army will play from this songbook.  So please, if you would like to, bring your ukes, kazoo's, triangles, drums, brass or woodwind or anything else please do and join us in making an unholy racket

  • Dance: DJ Mr Lightman (aka Ben) will be spinning some tunes in the evening

  • Camp: We will have a certain amount of space set aside for camping, so if you'd like to camp, please let us know as there are limited pitches. The venue has toilets and water available on site

  • Finish: We will need to turn the music off and lights out at 11pm 

FOOD  & DRINK

  • Afternoon tea and nibbles 

  • Hot meaty and vegan food served early evening...

  • Please feel free to bring your own picnic if you prefer

  • Drinks: Pimms, beers, 0%'s, wine,  soft drinks & tea, if you fancy something special, then feel free to bring you own, but we're trying to avoid glass if possible please

MAKING MUSIC

We encourage you to sing, play and join in or just listen. Printers Ukulele Army will play from this songbook.  So please, if you would like to, bring your ukes, kazoo's, triangles, drums, brass or woodwind and join us in making an unholy racket

WHAT SHOULD WE BRING

We'll have tables and chairs, a marquee, food and drinks​, but if you'd like to, please feel free to bring:

  • Babies, children, dogs and your family members are welcome - we just ask that you help us keep the grass clean!

  • Camp chairs / Blankets / Rugs if you prefer

  • It's a field, outside! We recommend comfy footwear,  and maybe something warm to wear later on

  • Snacks, picnic and and any specialty drinks you may want...

  • Ukuleles, music stands, other instruments, your voices...

  • Your camping gear, if you are camping​

  • Most importantly... your dancing feet! 

CAMPING

  • Please let us know via whatsapp if you're planning on camping as there is limited space!

  • Toilets are located in the Village Hall 

  • Drinking water is also located in the Village Hall.

  • Fair warning - campers might get roped into the clean-up on Sunday morning!

We are holding the party in the playing field behind the Village Hall. Ample car parking will be available in this field, please park to the left as you come in through the gate in the hedge.
